Emmanuel Fernandez earned Posh a point following an enthralling Sky Bet League One clash with Rotherham United.
Manager Darren Ferguson spoke ahead of the game and stated that it would be a 'contrast in styles' on show at the Weston Homes Stadium and he wasn't wrong. Posh played some excellent football and showed tremendous character as they came back from 3-1 down to earn a point against Steve Evans' Rotherham United side.
Posh controlled long spells of the first half, but were undone by goals from Sam Nombe from close-range, a superb Mallik Wilks effort and a trademark Jonson Clarke-Harris finish after James Dornelly had put the home side ahead with his first goal for the club.
Joel Randall saw an early effort blocked after a good turn on the edge of the area before Wilks clipped the top of the bar with an excellent left-foot curler on 10 minutes.
On 16 minutes, Posh opened the scoring as superb wing play from Poku down the right created the opportunity from close-range for DORNELLY who made no mistake.
The lead didn't last long though as a couple of minutes later, a corner caused panic and NOMBE stabbed the ball home.
On 23 minutes, the visitors nudged themselves in front as WILKS cut inside from the right and arrowed a low shot into the bottom corner.
Odoffin fired into the side-netting before Ricky-Jade Jones couldn't keep an effort down at the other end after good work from Poku.
On the stroke of half-time, Fernandez was kept out by a combination of the base of the post and the goalkeeper Dawson.
However, less than 60 seconds later, Rotherham added a third as CLARKE-HARRIS drilled a shot through the legs of Steer with his left-foot.
Jack Sparkes was denied by a superb goal-line challenge from McCart on 49 minutes, but from the resulting set-piece, Posh pulled a goal back, JONES was in the thick of it, he is claiming a final touch to send the ball into the net from Sparkes' corner.
On 52 minutes, Posh levelled the scores as another Sparkes corner was powered into the net by skipper FERNANDEZ.
Sparkes sent an audacious lob just wide before O'Brien-Brady fired wide via a deflection as Posh pushed for a fourth.
Malik Mothersille saw a curling effort claimed by Dawson before Hugill headed wide at the other end following a deep cross.
Randall was denied by Dawson and then substitute Bramall fired wide as both sides exchanged chances in front of goal.
