Action between Leyton Orient and Posh

Posh were second best for long periods in the capital, but came away with a point from the Sky Bet League One clash with Leyton Orient.

Sometimes in football, you can reflect on a performance and be disappointed and frustrated, but ultimately it is a results business and a 2-2 draw at an in-form Leyton Orient side is not to be sniffed at particularly after a performance that frustrated manager Darren Ferguson.

Posh were trailing going into the last four minutes of the first half, but goals from Kwame Poku and a spot-kick from Malik Mothersille sent Ferguson's men into the interval in front.

However, a strike from Charlie Kelman, albeit with a deflection drew the O's level. There was lots of pressure from the hosts for a winner, but Posh left the Gaughan Group Stadium with their unbeaten run on the road in tact.

Ricky-Jade Jones was denied by Hemming on four minutes after good approach play from Fernandez and Mothersille while a long Jones throw created a half-chance for Fernandez, but he couldn't generate any power on his header.

Orient opened the scoring on 18 minutes as Tom JAMES cut inside onto his left-foot and curled a fine effort past Steer and into the back of the net.

Kelman fired wide of the near post on 27 minutes and Agyei fired over from distance as the home side pressed for a second goal.

Posh drew themselves level on 41 minutes as superb work from Mothersille down the left saw him beat his man and pull the ball back for the onrushing POKU who fired home for his third goal in three games.

A minute before the break, Jones was upended in the box by Hemming and MOTHERSILLE coolly converted from the spot.

Galbraith fired wide a minute into the second period before the hosts levelled on 51 minutes from a deflected effort from Kelman.

Happe saw a header claimed by Steer and Jordan Graham's late corner eluded everyone, but despite the home side deploying a press that caused plenty of issues, coupled with some strange back passes from the Posh back-line, there were no further chances for the O's.
