A look ahead to Tuesday’s Professional U-23 Development League trip to Crewe Alexandra on Monday afternoon (1pm).
The Peterborough United Under 21s return to action on Monday afternoon (1pm) with a trip to Crewe Alexandra as Ryan Semple's men look to bounce back from their last meeting.
The Railwaymen will provide tough opposition for Posh with the club producing a host of players for their first team over the years including former midfielder George Cooper. Posh signed another Academy graduate, Rio Adebisi, from Crewe in the summer.
TEAM NEWS
Tyler Young, who made his first appearance in the senior side last week, is expected to be involved for Posh, who will also give a start to Bradley Ihionvien, who needs minutes following a spell on the side-lines due to a calf strain.
Goalkeeper Ben Westcott will be between the sticks with Will Blackmore not involved on this occasion.
FROM THE MANAGER
Professional Development Phase Lead Coach Ryan Semple said: "Whenever you face Crewe you know you are going to be in for a tough game because they produce a lot of good players from their Academy. It is mainly an Under 21 group on duty for us but we will go there and try and produce a strong performance."
LIVE UPDATES
Updates of the game will be available on The Posh Academy X account, with post-match reaction also on the website.
VENUE
The fixture will take place at Crewe's training ground (1pm).
