Fundraiser at the Nene Park Academy on Saturday 22nd November.

NCS Charity FundraiserThere are 15 people taking part in the Peterborough United NCS Autumn course. This is where 16-17 year olds volunteer in a development process where we take part in a 4 day residential trip, 3 days social development days and 20 hours of planning and delivering a social action project. Within the 15 people taking part there are 7 Peterborough United Futsal Scholars.

We as students are on the National Citizen Service (NCS) want to make people aware of the Free Kick foundation and how they can help the disabled and disadvantaged children in our area. We are trying to get people involved to raise money for this charity.

We are happy to inform you our fundraiser will be held at Nene Park Academy, Oundle Road, PE2 7EA on Saturday 22nd November 2014 from 11am–2pm.

Our aim is to raise enough money for disabled and disadvantaged children to take part in experiencing a footballing event such as being a Mascot for a Peterborough United FC game. At the fundraiser there will be events such as: penalty shoot-out, 10 minute training sessions, face painting, tombola, cake sales and many more…

We are doing a sponsored bag packing in your local Asda store to help us fund for this great event. This will commence on Saturday 15th November 2014.

Our aim is also to put smiles on children’s faces who aren’t as fortunate as ourselves, to give them a chance to do these fun activities and enjoy there selves – making it a day they won’t forget.

Please help us make a difference to these young children’s and families lives. Come down and show your support!
