The Posh development side came back from 2-0 down to beat local rivals Cambridge United.
The Peterborough United development squad fought back from 2-0 down to win 4-2 against Cambridge United at the Nene Park Academy on Wednesday afternoon with several first team squad members getting 90 minutes under their belts.
Marcus Maddison, Christian Burgess, Harry Beautyman, Erhun Oztumer and Harry Anderson all featured against the U's on a blustery day at the club's training base.
The visitors raced into a 2-0 lead and if goalkeeper Dion-Curtis Henry had not been alert, the U's could have extended that advantage with the talented custodian making a string of fine first half saves as the U's, with the wind at their backs, caused problems.
After the break, Posh began their comeback and reduced the arrears when Beautyman nodded home after excellent approach play by striker Jonathan Edwards.
Posh levelled through Harry Anderson's whose excellent strike found the corner of the net. The comeback was complete midway through the second half as Oztumer collected the ball 40-yards from goal, raced direct for goal and curled the ball past the goalkeeper.
The final goal of the afternoon arrived just before the end as Maddison's cross was finished by Edwards. Maddison came close with an effort from the half-way line while Oztumer was denied by the visiting goalkeeper.
Posh: Henry, Trialist, Luto, Burgess, Marshall, Oztumer, Maddison, Beautyman, H. Anderson, Keating, Edwards. Subs: Maslen-Jones, Friend, Robinson, Ravas, Hood.
