Posh host Bradford City at the ABAX Stadium on Saturday afternoon (3pm).
Peterborough United entertain Bradford City in Sky Bet League One action on Saturday afternoon (3pm) looking to make it three wins from three in all competitions.
The Bantams will provide difficult opposition for Grant McCann's men after reaching the semi-finals of the play-offs last term and investing in their playing squad during the close season.
Bradford have also seen a change in management with club legend Stuart McCall taking over the reigns following the departure of Phil Parkinson to Bolton Wanderers.
McCann knows what to expect: "I think Bradford have changed the way they play since the change of manager, but we know with James Hanson in the side, they pose an aerial threat as well and we have to be better at defending that kind of approach than we have been in the opening two games.
"I am sure Bradford will be backed by a large travelling contingent, but I am looking forward to our supporters being extremely vocal in their support of the team, like they have been at Rochdale and against AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday night. We know that our home form will be key this season," McCann said.
The Posh boss is hoping to have defender Ryan Tafazolli available for selection after he missed out on the EFL Cup win due to a slight hamstring injury.
"Ryan has been doing a lot of work with the physio and Ben Mackenzie this week so hopefully he will be in the squad. He did well in pre-season so we want him available for selection."
Brad Inman and Lee Angol are long term absentees and will not be involved. Michael Smith completed 90 minutes in the development friendly with Norwich City at the Mick George Training Academy in midweek.
"That game with Norwich was good to get Jermaine Anderson and Michael Smith 90 minutes and it was also important that a lot of other players in the squad got minutes under their belts. The league campaign for the under 21s doesn't start until September, so we need to keep the boys ticking over in terms of fitness," McCann added.
Tickets are available for Saturday's game at www.theposhtickets.com, via the Ticketmaster hotline 0844 847 1934* and in person at the ABAX Stadium Box Office.
The Mick George cheerleaders will be performing before the game and at half-time and the club's shirt sponsors will also be giving away special t-shirts before the fixture too.
