Posh have received a huge pre-Christmas boost with goalkeeper Luke McGee agreeing to extend his loan deal.
Peterborough United are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Luke McGee has agreed to extend his loan deal with the football club until the end of the season.
McGee's current loan deal from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur was due to expire at the beginning of January, but the two clubs have reached an agreement and the highly-rated shot-stopper will remain at the ABAX Stadium (subject to paperwork being formally completed).
Manager Grant McCann was delighted with the news: "It is great news Luke has extended his loan until the end of the season. He can now put all the speculation behind him and concentrate on his football.
"He has been top drawer since he joined the club and he is only going to get better," McCann said.
McGee has been excellent since his arrival from White Hart Lane, being named the foreverposh Player of the Month two months in a row, an achievement that recognised the impact he has made at the ABAX Stadium.
Reaction from Luke will come on theposh.com later today.
