Posh have completed the loan signing of Norwich City left-back Harry Toffolo.
Peterborough United are pleased to announce the arrival of Norwich City left-back Harry Toffolo until the end of the current campaign.
The England under 20 international played 30 times for Swindon Town during a loan spell during the 2014-2015 and made seven appearances in the Sky Bet Championship for Rotherham United earlier in this campaign.
He was part of the Norwich City youth side that won the FA Youth Cup in 2013. He has made one senior appearance for the Canaries.
Manager Graham Westley said: "It was a body blow losing Callum Elder, he had been terrific for us down the left-hand side and Lawrie Wilson was brought in to bring a bit of strength to the squad. He has filled in down the left-hand side but I think that everyone would agree that the balance of our side has been affected by having a right-footer at left-back.
"We saw that last week against Southend, it was very difficult to get forward to get down that side. Lawrie is a terrific footballer, but it has been difficult for him in that particular position. Harry is a terrific young player, he showed at Swindon in League One last year what he can do. He has gone to the Championship this year and it hasn't been the most successful loan for him and I think he is delighted to be here, and closer to where his parents live in Stevenage.
"It is ideal for him, ideal for us and I am really looking forward to working with him," Westley said.
Toffolo will wear the number 50 shirt. He is eligible for the Emirates FA Cup.
