Midfielder Harry Beautyman has joined Northampton Town for an undisclosed fee.
Peterborough United midfield man Harry Beautyman has joined Sky Bet League One newcomers Northampton Town for an undisclosed fee.
The former Leyton Orient man has penned a two-year deal at Sixfields and links up with former team-mate Gabriel Zakuani at the club.
Posh boss Grant McCann said: "It is a good move for Harry because it is fairly local so he shouldn't have to move. I spoke to him at the back end of last season and explained that I didn't think I could give him the first team football that he wanted.
"We have a lot of competition for places in midfield with Jermaine Anderson back to fitness, Leonardo Da Silva Lopes making great strides and the additions of Brad Inman and Gwion Edwards.
"Harry has played in a couple of games for us during pre-season and we wish him well at Northampton," McCann said.
Beautyman made 44 appearances for the club and scored five goals. We would like to thank Harry for his contribution to the club.
