Posh travel to Boreham Wood this evening for the second pre-season friendly (7.30pm).
Peterborough United make the trip to Boreham Wood this evening for the second pre-season friendly of the campaign with boss Grant McCann set to give his squad another 45-minute run-out.
Striker Lee Angol will not be involved as the medical staff continue to assess the injury he sustained in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Boston United at the Jakeman's Stadium.
Paul Taylor, who is currently training with the club, could be involved while Gwion Edwards and Aaron Williams may return. Jermaine Anderson and Michael Smith are expected to return when Posh entertain Norwich City at the ABAX Stadium on Saturday.
"It will be the same approach, the players will get 45 minutes at Boreham Wood and then we will step it up to an hour against Norwich. We will mix the teams around for tonight's game.
"It will be a good test for the players. Boreham Wood are a decent side and have had a number of fixtures already," McCann said.
Admission prices are £12 for adults, £10 for over 65s, £6 for under 16s and £3 for under 12s.
