Posh made a bright start to the contest at Griffin Park and opened the scoring inside the opening two minutes as Paul TAYLOR collected a pass from Shaquile Coulthirst and curled a fine effort into the bottom corner past the goalkeeper. Taylor missed a great chance to double the lead after Coulthirst's effort was deflected into his path, but the striker dragged his effort wide of the far post.

Alnwick produced a fine double stop to deny substitute Mcleod and then Sawyers as the Bees pressed for an equaliser.
Maddison fired over from long-range as Posh caused problems at the other end while Vibe glanced a fine Woods cross wide of the target as the action switched to the other end.
Baldwin and Tafazolli made two wonderful blocks as the Bees pressed but Posh chalked up an eye catching win.
