Posh under 18s suffer last gasp loss to St Ives.
On a difficult surface, Posh looked bright in the early exchanges with right-back Aaron Hart tested goalkeeper Trebes with a bobbling effort from just inside the area.Ives tested Elsom from long-range, but the goalkeeper made a routine stop. Ryan Semple was forced into making a change on 25 minutes as Moore limped out of the action, Kasey Douglas his replacement.
Hart made a decent block moments later as the hosts came close to a breakthrough. Goode headed wide from a corner kick as Posh replaced Nicholson with Piesse.
The breakthrough came just before the break as PHILLIPS was afforded space inside the box and he rifled home from 10-yards giving goalkeeper Elsom no chance.
Posh drew themselves as the first half entered stoppage time, Douglas doing excellent work to harass the defence and after winning the ball back, he fed STUMP who fired low into the bottom corner.
Posh played some good stuff in the second half and created notable half chances with Morgan Penfold and Luke Noble both denied by Trebes.
Borg was lively in a creative midfield role and won a free-kick that Alfie Connor curled over the top.
Jack Payne played the second 45 minutes and played some decent crossfield passes, but his attempt from a set-piece was struck into the wall.
In the final few moments, the home side found a winner as a corner kick was headed home by MCGOWAN.
