Posh defensive pair Kgosi Ntlhe and Gabriel Zakuani both called up.
Peterborough United left-back Kgosi Ntlhe has been named in the South African under 23 squad for a prestigious friendly with their Brazilian counterparts later this month.
The Under-23s are preparing for the Rio Olympic Games in August later this year with a tester against the hosts, which kicks off at 630pm in Brazil on the 27th March.
Manager Owen Da Da Gama said on the announcement of the squad: “You can never ask for a better opposition than this. First of all, we will be able to measure ourselves with some of the best players at our level, and secondly we will get a glimpse of what to expect when we return to Brazil for the Games. I am very happy that we were able to secure this all-important fixture."
Meanwhile, Gabi Zakuani has been named in the DR Congo squad for forthcoming African Cup of Nation qualifying games with Angola.
Zakuani has been named in the final squad for the Group B fixtures at home on 26 March and away in Lubango three days later.
DR Congo are currently second in Group B after a home win over Madagascar and a shock 2-0 defeat at Central African Republic in September. Only group winners are guaranteed automatic qualification to the tournament in Gabon.
Ntlhe and Zakuani will miss the Good Friday fixture with Coventry City due to the nvolvement with their countries.
