Posh host struggling Crewe Alexandra at the ABAX Stadium on Saturday.
Peterborough United entertain Crewe Alexandra at the ABAX Stadium in Sky Bet League One action on Saturday afternoon (3pm) looking to complete a season-double over the side managed by Steve Davis.
Jermaine Anderson scored twice in a 5-1 victory at Gresty Road earlier in the campaign with Lee Angol, who netted his first goal in 2016 in the 3-1 win at Coventry City, also on target in that big win against the Alex.
Angol impressed as a second half substitute against the Sky Blues alongside Shaquile Coulthirst and both are pushing for a starting berth this weekend.
Gabi Zakuani, Michael Smith, Martin Samuelsen, Kgosi Ntlhe and Harry Toffolo have all returned from international duty without any bumps or bruises so are all in contention to return.
Joe Gormley and Jermaine Anderson are making good progress from their long term injuries, while Jordan Nicholson broke his leg in the reserve win at Leeds last month and is four to six weeks away from a return.
"Jordan's injury is a farly simple one and he shouldn't be out of action too long. He is in a protective boot at the minute and will step up his recovery soon.
"Jermaine and Joe are both doing very well and are ahead of schedule. They are working extremely hard with the physio and on the training pitch and that is great to see," boss Graham Westley said.
Crewe are 11 points from survival after Monday's home defeat to Bradford City, but Westley is warning against complacency particularly after witnessing Colchester United's away win at Coventry City in mid-week.
"These teams are fighting for their lives and you do see some unpredictable results at this time of year so we need to start the game well and impose ourselves on the fixture. We want to end this season well and try and put a run together and see where it takes us," Westley added.
