Peter Burrow has claimed success at the Family Excellence Awards.
Peterborough United Football Club are pleased to announce that Peter Burrow was a winner at the Family Excellence awards, held at Wolverhampton Wanderers last week.
The 'Best Use of a Club Mascot' award was presented to Peter Burrow for his excellent work, not just on match days at the ABAX Stadium, but also for his efforts in the community.
The rabbit recieved his award prior to the 5-1 win over Blackpool at the ABAX Stadium. It is not just recognition of the work that Peter Burrow undertakes, it was also recognition for Mr Posh, Miss Posh, Mick The Skip, Peeby and all of the other mascots that are on duty.
Chief Executive Bob Symns said: "It was great to receive recognition from the Football League for the work that our superb Peter Burrow undertakes, but I have to say at this point, that this is also a demonstration of the excellent work that all of our other mascots do on a match day.
"We are dead chuffed about the award. Peter is a very friendly mascot, as they all are and we hope they make the match day experience special for families at the ABAX," Symns said.
