Posh have secured their first summer signing with the arrival of former Bolton Wanderers defender.
Peterborough United manager Grant McCann has made his first summer signing with the arrival of former Bolton Wanderers full-back Hayden White on a two-year contract.
White, who spent the latter part of last season on-loan with Blackpool, was out of contract at the Macron Stadium and completed the paperwork at the ABAX Stadium on Monday with his contract commencing on 1st July.
McCann was pleased to get the deal completed; "Hayden is someone that I believe will bring us good competition at right-back. He is an attack-minded individual very much in the mould of Mark Little and I am pleased to have him on board so early."
White said: "I know what Peterborough are all about in terms of their style of play and that suits me down to the ground. I saw in the game recently just how good they are, the players are all fighting for one another and I am really happy to be here.
"It is good to get everything sorted before the summer and I can look forward to pre-season now. There are some good players at the club and I am excited to get started," White said.
The defender was officially unveiled during the manager appointment press conference. The 21-year-old began his career with Sheffield Wednesday before joining Bolton in 2013. He has had loan spells at Carlisle United, Bury, Notts County and Blackpool, where he scored once in 29 appearances.
