Posh host Scunthorpe United in Sky Bet League One action tonight.
Peterborough United entertain Sky Bet League One leaders Scunthorpe United at the ABAX Stadium this evening (7.45pm) looking to make it six successive wins in all competitions.
The Iron are six points clear at the top of the table after an excellent first quarter of the campaign with Josh Morris the standout performer with 15 goals already to his name.
Morris joined Scunthorpe in the summer on a free transfer from Bradford City where he failed to make an impression. His ability from set-pieces and his goals from long distance have made him a big threat, but Posh boss Grant McCann is well aware they have threats from all over the pitch.
"Josh Morris has scored a lot of goals and has a very good ability to score all types of goals. However, he is one of many threats that Scunthorpe have. They have a good blend of youth and experience and are on a tremendous run of form.
"I have a lot of respect for the manager Graham Alexander. He nearly got them into the play-offs last season and has continued that form into the new season. It will be a tough test for us but we go into the game confident because we are on a good run of form too," McCann said.
The Posh boss confirmed that a number of players are suffering from 'bumps and bruises' but is expecting everyone to declare themselves fit ahead of the clash. Jermaine Anderson is the only long term absentee.
Scunthorpe are unlikely to risk striker Paddy Madden for the trip to the ABAX - he has not been fully fit in recent weeks and manager Graham Alexander has hinted he won't start.
