Posh host Swindon Town at the ABAX Stadium on Saturday (12.15pm).
Peterborough United entertain Swindon Town in Sky Bet League One action on Saturday (12.15pm) at the ABAX Stadium with the game screened live by Sky Sports.
The Robins saw their last league fixture against Bristol Rovers at the County Ground abandoned in the second half to the adverse weather conditions.
Posh were victorious 2-0 at stadium: mk against Milton Keynes Dons in their last league outing and manager Grant McCann has added to his squad prior to the transfer window closing this week.
Goalkeeper Luke McGee has arrived from Tottenham Hotspur to replace the departed Ben Alnwick and could be in line for a start between the sticks. Mark Tyler is currently on 799 career appearances and has the jersey following a string of impressive displays.
Nathan Oduwa also made the loan move from White Hart Lane following a successful stint in Scotland with Glasgow Rangers. The winger trained with his new team-mates on Thursday and is expected to be named in the squad.
George Moncur was the other arrival on deadline day. The creative midfielder agreed a loan switch from Barnsley and will add to the attacking options already at McCann's disposal.
"I was delighted with the business we were able to do ahead of the deadline. We have good options and the players trained with a high level of intensity on Thursday. I think the new arrivals added that little bit extra and the lads are all looking forward to the game with Swindon.
"I know the Swindon Head Coach Luke Williams well, I did my A Licence with him. He likes to play football in the right way. It is in the DNA at Swindon to play in a certain style. They will play in a formation that we haven't come up against this season yet, but we have plenty of flexibility ourselves," McCann said.
The Posh boss is without the services of defender Michael Smith because he is away on international duty with Northern Ireland while Hayden White will be given every chance to declare himself fit. He has been struggling with a groin injury.
Brad Inman and Lee Angol are still sidelined due to injury, but McCann is reporting no further injuries in the camp.
