Posh C managed to finish the day with seven points, with two wins and a well battled draw against Southampton. Posh D ended the day with six points, and were unlucky to not come away with nine after an un lucky defeat to Southampton E.

Thursday was a huge day for the futsal scholarship, as we saw our side compete at the second stage of the EFL Futsal Cup. The team faced tough opponents in Grimsby Town, Sheffield United, Blackpool and Burton Albion. They successfully qualified for the EFL Cup Finals on the 13th June, after they beat Burton 4-0, also beating Blackpool and Sheffield United. They lost against Grimsby in what was a very closely fought game. Coach Michael Johnson was very proud of his team’s effort on the day, and continually breaking records as a club.
On Saturday, the boys that have been given conditional offers were invited to the ABAX Stadium for an exclusive pre-match tour and to watch the first team game against Oxford United. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the tour, seeing behind the scenes, and also enjoyed the game, in which Posh were unlucky to lose 2-1. They witnessed history however, as club legend Craig Mackail-Smith score his 100th Club goal.
