The latest Posh school assembly took place at Watergall Primary School.
Peterborough United’s talented teenager Leo Da Silva Lopes was the special guest at the latest school assembly arranged by the football club with pupils at Watergall Primary School in Bretton receiving free tickets for a forthcoming Sky Bet League One fixture at the ABAX Stadium.
After meeting the midfielder, pupils then watched a DVD of some of the Posh goals scored this season before being introduced to the always popular mascot Peter Burrow. The rabbit showed his dance moves before making sure each youngster had a high five as they made their way back to the classroom.
The visit was the latest in a long line of assemblies at Primary Schools across the region with pupils obtaining free tickets that also allow an adult to watch for half price.
