The football club completed the 60th visit to a Primary School as part of the Schools Initiative last week with a visit to Barnack.
The Schools Initiative visited the final school before the half-term holiday last Thursday and there was a familiar face in charge of the assembly with ex-Peterborough United defender Gareth Jelleyman one of the teachers at Barnack Primary School.
Every pupil received a FREE ticket for a forthcoming fixture at the ABAX Stadium with an adult also admitted free of charge. Press Officer Phil Adlam said: “Gareth contacted me about arranging a visit and it was great to visit Barnack Primary School with mascot Peter Burrow. We received a very warm welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
“We look forward to welcoming pupils to an upcoming game and hope they enjoyed the visit as much as we did.”
