Schools Initiative continued on Tuesday morning with a visit to Ermine Street Primary School.
On Tuesday morning, the football club conducted a school assembly for just over 100 pupils at Ermine Street Primary School in Alconbury with mascot Peter Burrow spending time with the youngsters in the hall.
The school is part of a new development in the area with current intake set to quadruple in the next few years as the new houses reach completion. Every pupil in the school received a FREE ticket to watch a forthcoming fixture at the ABAX Stadium with an adult also admitted free of charge.
Press Officer Phil Adlam said: “There were just over 100 pupils in the school when we visited on Tuesday but I reckon in a few years’ time there will be over 600 being taught at this particular school. It is a purpose built school ready for the intake and I am sure this particular area of Alconbury will be thriving.
“We hope everybody enjoyed the assembly and look forward to welcoming youngsters to an upcoming game.”
