An update has been issued to supporters ahead of the new 2020/2021 campaign.
The new 2020/2021 campaign is just around the corner and the club are now in a position to advise supporters of how they can watch Peterborough United in action whilst the games are currently behind closed doors.
RETURNING TO THE STADIUM
At present, the club are awaiting an update from the EFL with regards to when supporters will be allowed back at the Weston Homes Stadium at a reduced capacity. As a football club, we are keen for supporters to return to the Weston Homes Stadium as soon as it is safe to do so, however, we are in the hands of the EFL and the government so will continue to take advice as it is issued. Please be advised that it will only be season ticket holders admitted into the stadium initially whilst a reduced capacity is in operation.
SEASON TICKETS CAPPED
The number of season tickets made available for sale will be capped at 4,000 which will be the reduced capacity when fans return to the stadium. Season tickets will remain on sale until they sell out with just over 600 currently remaining. With such a fluid situation, and now knowing iFollow codes will be issued to season ticket holders, the club have decided to freeze prices at the super saver price indefinitely. Season ticket holders’ seats not yet bought will be reserved until 5pm on Friday 18th September.
IFOLLOW CODES
While games are behind closed doors, every season ticket holder (apart from under 12s) will be issued with an ifollow code so they can watch home Posh league fixtures. These codes will be sent out via post initially with subsequent codes sent via email, so to ensure we have details correct, please log in or register at https://login.theposh.com, making sure you have linked your season ticket account. Please use the same email address when you use/register your iFollow account.
PRO-RATA REFUND
With the value of match passes at ÂŁ10, season ticket holders will have the difference to the price paid for their season ticket (pro-rata) added to their account in club cash for each home league fixture that takes place behind closed doors. For example an adult seated season ticket bought at ÂŁ439 (ÂŁ19.09 per game) would receive ÂŁ9.09 in club cash.
EXECUTIVE SUITE/PLATINUM MEMBERS
Discussions are still taking place on how we compensate Executive Suite members and Platinum season ticket holders. This will be determined based on how long games take place behind closed doors.
TROPHY GAMES/AWAY FIXTURES
As a football club, we wanted to give iFollow access to season ticket holders for away games, however, the EFL have issued a directive that states that League One clubs cannot do this at this moment in time. Away games will be available to purchase at the standard ÂŁ10 match pass. The club continues to explore the possibility of streaming the EFL Trophy ties to season ticket holders.
MATCH PASSES
Non-season ticket holders can purchase individual home and away match passes for ÂŁ10.
SEASON CARDS
Fans renewing their season ticket where their seat and price class are the same, need to retain their season card. Any newly bought or price class/seat change will be sent a new card in the post. We’re expecting these to be dispatched within the next couple of weeks in time for fans returning to the stadium.
FLEXI TICKETS
The club intend on making flexi tickets available again once capacities have increased to allow supporters above season ticket holders to attend.
MEMBERSHIPS
Membership are currently still suspended at this time due to supporters not being able to take advantage of the benefits. More details will be released in due course.
We recognise that during this unprecedented time, there has been a lot of uncertainty and we would like to thank supporters for their patience during this challenging time.
