This summer the Peterborough United Foundation were granted funding from the Premier League to deliver the Premier League Kicks initiative.
Premier League Kicks is one of the Premier League's flagship community programs which uses the power of football and the values of sport and participation to help hard-to-reach youngsters, who are at risk of not being in employment or training once mainstream education is over for them.
The programme aims to build upon community values via the development of young people’s potential, to help guide them towards a range of healthy and constructive activities with long term benefits.
We currently have four sessions throughout the week at four different venues across the city. These session are; Monday @ Queen Katherine Academy 5-6pm, Wednesday @ Netherton FC 4:45-6pm, Thursday @ Nene valley community centre 4:45-6pm and Friday @ Power League Stanground 5-6pm. All of these sessions are FREE of charge and are open to boys and girls aged 11-18. They will be safe, fun and pressure free environments.
