Jonson Clarke-Harris and Ricky-Jade Jones spend time checking out the Fitness Rush Mobile van at the Weston Homes Stadium.
Peterborough United strikers Jonson Clarke-Harris and Ricky-Jade Jones spent time checking out the fully equipped state-of-the-art customised Fitness Rush Mobile van at the Weston Homes Stadium at the end of last month.
After years of changing individuals lives through increased fitness and lifestyle changes, the team behind Fitness Rush discovered that not everyone could make it to them, so they’ve decided to bring the gym to the community.
After years of experience in the fitness industry, the Fitness Rush team have teamed up with award winning fabricators to design the very best in what fitness and automotive innovation have to offer.
From built-in self powered cardiovascular machines to patent protected space saving strength training equipment, they have left nothing to chance in our ambition to create the world’s first fully functional mobile Personal Training facility which is fully customisable depending on the client’s needs and goals.
The kitted out van will be situated outside the Weston Homes Stadium for a forthcoming Sky Bet Championship fixture. Clarke-Harris, last season’s top scorer as Posh clinched automatic promotion to the Championship, was impressed with what he saw.
“It is amazing what they have managed to get in the van and the idea behind it, to bring the gym to the community to help with mental well-being is incredibly important, particularly in the world that we live in right now. I can definitely see the benefits and sometimes people don’t want to be in a crowded gym to do their workout, this is the perfect place.”
“It was a pleasure to be surrounded by professional athletes in their chosen sport. Its clear they are passionate about winning and share our whatever it takes ethics. We look forward to spending more time with the Peterborough players and watch them progress over the season, hopefully with some help to our mobile fitness facility”. Liam Rushmer from Fitness Rush Mobile said.
