Posh will find out quarter-final opponents on Saturday 23rd January.
The Papa John’s Trophy Quarter-Final draw will take place live on the EFL on Quest highlight’s show on Saturday 23 January. The draw will be conducted during the show, which airs between 9-10:30pm, with former Luton Town striker Sam Parkin on-hand to draw the teams out.
Parkin enjoyed an illustrious career in the EFL, making over 350 appearances, and has fond memories of the competition after winning the EFL Trophy with the Hatters in 2009 after they overcame Scunthorpe United in an extra-time thriller at Wembley Stadium.
There will be eight Clubs involved at the Quarter-Final stage of the competition with the draw no longer split into Northern and Southern sections. The Quarter-Final draw, hosted by Colin Murray, will be available to watch live on Quest, with the selected ties also covered in full on the @PapaJohnsTrophy Twitter account.
Quarter-Final matches will be played week commencing 1 February. Posh eased to this point of the competition following an emphatic 5-1 win over Portsmouth on Tuesday evening with Jack Taylor, Jonson Clarke-Harris, Frankie Kent, Siriki Dembele and Ethan Hamilton on target.
