Type of contract: Part-time/volunteer (depending on qualifications and experience)

Reporting to: Girls Coordinator
Summary
We are looking to recruit several high-quality coaches to work within our Girls Elite/Development Centre during the 2021/2022 football season. Our Girls Elite/Development Centres are for players aged 8-16 and allows us to coach the players whilst they still train and play for a grassroots team. We aim to develop the players technical and physical ability as well as aid their social and psychological development. Each week is focused on a different topic to ensure the players are always learning.
Roles and Responsibilities
- To coach within the Girls Elite/Development Centre on a weekly basis – to be able to assist other coaches and lead sessions where required
- To support with Girls Elite/Development fixtures mid-week and during school holidays
- To complete player progress reports at the end of each training block
- Be able to be pro-active, flexible and passionate about developing girls’ football
Person Specification
Essential
Desirable
FA Level 1 in Coaching Football.
Experience coaching within junior/youth football.
The ability to be able to enthuse, motivate and communicate effectively with participants.
A flexible approach to work, including being able to work evenings.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Drive to complete player progress reports.
FA Level 2 in Coaching Football or higher.
Experience coaching within girls’ football.
In date FA Safeguarding Children and FA First Aid certificates (these can be achieved on appointment).

The person appointed to this role will have contact with children and vulnerable adults, and therefore, the post holder will require an enhanced Disclosure Barring Service check.
