We can now confirm both matchday and season ticket prices for the 2025/26 season.
As has been communicated over the past few months the club has seen an unprecedented increase in overheads since the introduction of the price freeze in place since the COVID pandemic.
Matchday costs, led by the increase in national minimum wage, have increased 40% over the past four years whilst our energy and supplier costs have all increased significantly. This year employer’s national insurance contributions will increase by 9% from April.
We have investigated all options to mitigate these increased costs whilst also ensuring that our commitment to ensuring football is affordable for our supporters and encouraging attendance for our fans of the future is maintained.
Following this investigation, we are now able to share with supporters our plans for both matchday and season ticket pricing for next season.
MATCHDAY PRICING
There have been no increases to matchday pricing since the 2021/22 campaign. Prices were reduced for the following season and have remained the same for members and early bird purchases thereafter.
For the 2025/26 season, there will be a price increase of £1 on adult, U24 and U18 ticket prices and a £2 increase for seniors. The additional price increase for our senior price is based on extensive benchmarking completed across EFL clubs.
If supporters choose to become a Forever Posh/Junior Posh member or utilise our early bird pricing window, prices will start from £22 for adults, £13 for U24s, £9 for U18, £18 for seniors and free for U14s.
Full matchday pricing for the 2025/26 season can be found here.
COVID PRICE FREEZE ENDS
In line with previous communications any supporters benefitting from the COVID price freeze pricing over the past four years will now need to purchase their season ticket at the early bird or standard rate.
SEASON TICKET PRICING
Following consultation with our supporters groups we are delighted to announce regular season ticket prices will be frozen for the 2025/26 season for all supporters purchasing both at the early bird and standard pricing rates.
As well as maintaining frozen prices for the forthcoming season we are also continuing to offer free season tickets to all under 14 Junior Posh members highlighting our continued commitment to growing our fanbase.
Only by increasing our fanbase over the coming years can we maintain this level of pricing due to ever increasing costs. The dedicated support of all our fans this season has been magnificent, and we can’t thank you enough for your efforts. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Weston Homes Stadium next season.
Season Ticket Holders who hold season tickets in our Executive Suite as well as our Platinum Season Tickets will be contacted separately as this ticket category is not included in the price freeze.
Full season ticket renewal details and pricing can be found here.
Peterborough United Chairman Darragh MacAnthony said of the decision: “As recognition of both the current financial climate and the magnificent efforts our supporters have shown this season supporting the team we have taken the decision to freeze season ticket prices for the forthcoming season.
“Our supporters have travelled the length and breadth of the country in magnificent numbers this season despite some challenging results on the pitch whilst the economic situation is still unstable, and we thank them for that.
“We have seen an unprecedented increase in costs for the football club over the past few years but it’s imperative we continue to make football affordable for our supporters and continue to support our various initiatives to create the fans of the future.”
Season tickets will go on sale from 10am on Monday 24th February, you can renew online by accessing your online ticketing account here, or by visiting the Ticket Office at the Weston Homes Stadium during opening hours.
