Young Posh defender Benjamin Arthur named in England under 18 squad for three fixtures in Portugal.
Peterborough United defender Benjamin Arthur has been named in the England under 18 squad for three games at the International Tournament of Lisbon.
The Young Lions will take on Norway, Australia and Portugal and head coach Neil Ryan has named a 23-man squad for the trip, which includes the highly-rated Posh centre back.
Their first game will be on Friday 9 June against Norway (11am BST), before they tackle Australia on Sunday 11 June (11am BST) and then the host nation Portugal on Tuesday 13 June (5pm BST).
Next season, this year group will form the MU19s squad who will be involved in the UEFA U19 EURO Championship with the first qualifying round for that competition scheduled for October.
Arthur is the only player outside of the top two divisions that has been selected in the squad with representation from Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham among other clubs represented.
