Posh under 18s without a fixture this week as they look ahead to busy schedule.
The Peterborough United under 18s were well beaten by a strong Birmingham City side last time out and with the scheduled Professional Development League clash at Fleetwood Town washed out by the weather this weekend, there is plenty of time on the training ground before the next fixture.
Lead Coach Jimmy Unwin admitted that the Blues were 'too strong' for his side but conceded there are lessons to be learned.
"In games of football, you can always learn things and against Birmingham, there is things you can take away, but to be honest, they are a Category One club at Category Two level.
"They were very good, I was impressed by them and how they went about it. We have a clear week now and we look forward to the upcoming games."
