Cambridge

Everyone at the Club is looking forward to the Cambridgeshire Derby against Cambridge United at the Weston Homes Stadium on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.

Below is some important information for supporters ahead of the fixture:

FANZONE

The Fanzone will be open this weekend from 12 noon to home supporters only. Both entrances to the Fanzone will be stewarded and access will only be granted to those supporters in possession of a home match ticket.

We will be screening various Pitchside Posh editions from earlier in the season as there is no early Premier League fixture this weekend. We also have our brand-new Official Peterborough United Football Freestyler performing both prior to the match and at half-time.

The Ticket Office, located in the Fanzone, will be available to away supporters, however any away supporters visiting the Ticket Office will be accompanied by a steward and will not be permitted to remain within the Fanzone once their query has been dealt with.

ARRIVE EARLY

With a capacity crowd expected for this weekend’s fixture we would urge supporters to arrive as early as possible with queues expected.

PERSISTENT STANDING

Supporters are reminded that persistent standing in seated areas is not permitted anywhere inside the stadium, except for safe standing areas, this includes stairwells, exits routes and gangways.

We would also like to remind supporters that they are required to sit in their designated seat as stated on their match ticket. Any spectators breaching this condition may face ejection from the stadium and a possible ban from future fixtures at the Weston Homes Stadium.

POST-MATCH DEPARTURE

At the end of the match supporters will be segregated on departure from the stadium.

Away supporters from Cambridge United will depart via the main entrance to the stadium via Hawksbill Way. Supporters in the GH Display Stand will leave via Glebe Road and home supporters in the Kings Power Solutions Main Stand will exit the stadium via London Road.

ROAD CLOSURE

There will be a road closure on the Town Bridge following the game this weekend.

The closure will be in effect for approximately 30 minutes. We recommend that traffic avoids the area if possible. The closure is due to the expected capacity crowd in attendance at the Weston Homes Stadium this weekend.

TICKETS

Supporters are reminded that this fixture is ALL TICKET and no tickets will be available on the day of the game.

Currently the GH Display Stand is SOLD OUT, a limited number of tickets remain for the fixture in other areas of the ground, you can secure your tickets online 24/7 or from the Weston Homes Stadium Ticket Office during opening hours.

Ahead of the fixture Posh CEO Dawn Gore has said: “We are all excited by the up-coming Cambridgeshire Derby and welcoming a sell-out crowd to the Weston Homes Stadium. With the GH Display Stand full of home supporters we urge our fans to arrive early, enjoy their day, support the team but behave in a manner that represents the Club in a positive manner”.
