It is pretty clear where the Achilles heel of the Posh performances have been so far and unfortunately three goals in less than 10 minutes condemned Darren Ferguson's men to defeat.
Peterborough United were undone by a hat-trick from substitute Richard Kone as the striker scored three times inside 10 minutes to turn the Sky Bet League One clash at Adams Park on its head after Ricky-Jade Jones had tapped Posh into the lead early in the second half.
Kone levelled the scores with a deflected effort from the edge of the box, converted a penalty after a handball from Emmanuel Fernandez and headed home a spinning ball from close-range to condemn Posh to a 3-1 defeat in Buckinghamshire.
The first half tempo was fairly slow throughout, but chances still came for both sides, Dan Harvie curled an effort wide of the target on three minutes while Jed Steer did well to keep out McCleary after a long ball forward by the Chairboys keeper.
Taylor headed wide from a set-piece while at the other end, Malik Mothersille saw a cross-shot clawed to safety by Ravizolli while Fernandez recieved a first caution for a foul on 38 minutes.
Two minutes later, a deep cross from Poku was stabbed goalwards at the back post and kept out by the legs of the keeper who then repelled Joel Randall.
On 49 minutes, Posh opened the scoring as a Poku cross was turned home at the back post by JONES. Steer kept out Onyedinma moments later and Grimmer fired wide from distance.
Mothersille guided a volley wide of the target from a Jack Sparkes cross on 62 minutes and three minutes later, the home side were level as KONE saw an effort from the edge of the box deflect into the other corner of the net.
Leahy saw a powerful drive beaten away by Steer, but the keeper could do nothing moments later as KONE saw a header squirm into the back of the net.
On 70 minutes, Fernandes was shown a second yellow card for a deliberate handball and KONE completed his hat-trick from the spot.
Archie Collins struck the post with a sweet strike on 77 minutes as Posh pressed to pull a goal back but it proved to be too much.
