The football club wish to update supporters who were affected by the outage from StreamAMG which affected access to Posh+ on Saturday.
On Saturday, just ahead of kick-off, our streaming partner, StreamAMG had a catastrophic systems failure, which meant the majority of supporters who had tried to access Posh+ for either video or audio coverage of our Sky Bet League One fixture at Bolton Wanderers were presented with an error message.
Once the club were aware of the situation on Saturday, we made contact with StreamAMG, alongside numerous other clubs, in the Premier League and the EFL who were also affected, and unfortunately the problem was not fully resolved until just before half-time.
We are extremely disappointed that our supporters were inconvenienced and couldn’t access the services they paid for. Whilst this serious issue was not directly our fault, we understand the frustrations that supporters have expressed on email and on social media.
We will offer a refund for anyone who purchased a match pass on Saturday was affected. We will issue a pro-rata refund to any monthly or annual subscriber that was affected. Please email poshplus@theposh.com if you were affected.
We are in discussions with StreamAMG to ensure this doesn’t happen again. We thank you for all your understanding on this matter.
