WM LEGAL

One of our much valued Club Partners, WM Legal, have just returned from Antigua, where they have been donating football shirts to children participating in the Antiguan Cup.

Graham Mangion and Lisa Weston from WM Legal have been spreading the joy in Antigua by delivering Peterborough United kits to a group of children who participated in the Antiguan Cup, hosted by the Antiguan Warriors Club and sponsored by the firm.

WM Legal, who are one of the club's valued Commercial Partners, are committed to social responsibility initiatives and have more visits planned over the next 12 months.

Graham Mangion, Head of Operations at WM Legal, said: "I'm delighted to share with you some details about our recent trip to Antigua, where we donated some Peterborough United kits to the Young Warriors Football Club who organised and participated in the Antiguan Cup. This was a fantastic opportunity for us to give back to the community and to support the development of young footballers in the Caribbean. We wanted to give the children a sense of excitement and togetherness, as well as a chance to show off their skills and passion for the game.

Director and Barrister, Lisa Weston, commented: "We believe that football is a great outlet for young people to focus their energy and to learn valuable lessons about teamwork, vision, discipline and having fun. We also think that football can have a positive impact on their mental and physical health, especially during these challenging times.

"We were very impressed by the talent and enthusiasm of the children, and by the organisation and dedication of the coaches and volunteers who made the tournament possible. We were honoured to meet some of the dignitaries and sponsors who attended the event, and to witness the joy and gratitude of the children who received the kits.

"We are proud to be associated with Peterborough United and to support their efforts to promote football and education around the world. We are also very grateful to the Posh, who generously donated the kits and made this initiative possible. They have been an amazing partner and we look forward to working with them on more projects in the future."
