Supporting the grassroots clubs in our community is really important to Peterborough United Football Club and evidence of that is the latest collaboration between the Club and Hampton United who will be playing all their home games at our idverde Training Ground next season.
Hampton United was founded in 2021 by Daniel Maund, Jody Clark and Paul Howman. Their First Team play in the Peterborough District Football League (PDFL) Division One. Their Reserves play in the second division of the same league with the A Team operating in the fourth. The First Team has achieved promotion in each of the last three seasons!
Hampton United Chairman Paul Howman said of the agreement: "We have big plans for the future for Hampton United and what could be bigger than going into partnership with the mighty Posh! We already have a pathway for grassroots football from boys & girls teams through to adult, pan disability and walking football and we're looking to take the club as far as it can go. We hope to celebrate the promotion of all our teams with the Posh next season."
