Harrison Burrows, Jadel Katongo and Kwame Poku were on target as Posh ran out 3-1 winners over Stevenage at the Weston Homes Stadium.
Peterborough United made it five league wins in a row and six wins in a row in all competitions as goals from Harrison Burrows, Jadel Katongo and Kwame Poku secured a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Steve Evans' Stevenage at the Weston Homes Stadium.
The visitors made a lively start to the game, forcing a number of set-pieces with Ben Thompson drilling a low shot wide of the target from 20-yards.
Archie Collins saw a shot blocked on 13 minutes after good work from Poku before the visitors came close to the breakthrough as Vancooten swept an effort over the crossbar from 18-yards.
Hector Kyprianou was cautioned on 32 minutes - a booking that leads to a two-match ban - before Jordan Roberts sent an effort whistling just over the top after a poor pass from Edwards.
On 41 minutes, Posh were awarded a spot-kick as Mason-Clark was upended in the box and skipper Harrison BURROWS stepped up to coolly slot home from 12-yards.
Two minutes after the re-start, Jed Steer produced a superb stop to keep out Vadaine Oliver's close-range header before Posh made a double change with Malik Mothersille and David Ajiboye introduced.
Mothersille made an instant impact, picking out the marauding Jadel KATONGO who fired home for his second goal for the club.
On 76 minutes, Posh extended their lead as Mothersille cut the ball back intelligently for POKU who made no mistake.
Six minutes from time, the visitors pulled a goal back as FREEMAN found the bottom corner with a controlled effort.
Elliott List was kept out from close-range by Steer in seven minutes of stoppage time with Wildin also firing wide of the target.
