A number of former players, who had featured in the play-offs for the club in the past, were introduced to the crowd ahead of kick-off on Wednesday evening.
Nine former Peterborough United players received a warm welcome back to PE2 on Wednesday evening as they were introduced to the crowd ahead of the Sky Bet League One Play-Off semi-final against Oxford United at the Weston Homes Stadium.
The club invited three players from the 1992 squad, three players from the successful 2000 group and three players from the 2011 triumph at Old Trafford.
Worrell Sterling, Marcus Ebdon and Ken Charlery represented the 1992 squad, which secured promotion at Wembley against Stockport County.
Gareth Jelleyman, Steve Castle and Andy Edwards were in attendance as part of the 2000 squad that beat Darlington 1-0 at Wembley.
From 2011, Aaron Mclean, who left midway through the promotion-year, Craig Mackail-Smith and Lee Tomlin were present with Posh beating Huddersfield at Old Trafford that year.
