At Peterborough United’s game against Burton Albion, the Peterborough United Foundation will be collecting coat donations for those in need this winter.
Peterborough United Foundation will be in the Fanzone before Peterborough United’s Sky Bet League One fixture against Burton Albion on Saturday 25th November (3pm) to collect any clean adult or children’s coats to be distributed to those in need as we head into the winter months.
Peterborough United Foundation has positively impacted thousands of people in the local area over the last year, operating partly in the areas of highest social deprivation across Peterborough.
Gill Wignall, Peterborough United Foundation CEO said, “This winter, we're reaching out to Peterborough United fans, inviting you to join us in making a positive impact on local people through our winter coat drive.
Many of the people we work with at Peterborough United Foundation come from some of the most deprived areas in the region. As always, we're committed to supporting them through what promises to be another challenging winter season.
Any contribution of clean child or adult-sized coats can make a significant difference to people who need it most during the cold winter months."
Shortly after the fixture on November 25th, all coats collected will be redistributed to ensure their benefits can be felt by those who need them for as long as possible.
We’d like to thank everyone in advance for your coat donations, helping us positively impact those in need this winter.
