Eddie Fox

Midfielder Eddie Fox has signed a professional contract with the Club.

Peterborough United are pleased to confirm that midfielder Eddie Fox has put pen to paper on a two-year professional contract, which will keep him at the Weston Homes Stadium until the summer of 2027.

The 17-year-old, who has been a regular in the Under 21 side this season, completed the formalities at the idverde Training Ground.

Academy Director Dan Robinson said: "It is fantastic to see one of our players reach this stage in their career where they are signing a professional contract. Eddie has been with us since Under 13s and is a player that always works so hard both on and off the pitch.

"Alongside his usual scholarship, he is also completing two A-Levels, which is another example of Eddie being the best he can be. We look forward to working with him over the next few years and watch him develop."

Fox added: "This is an incredibly proud moment for me. I have been here a number of years, but this is a really important milestone and something that I won't ever forget.

"The challenge for me is now to ensure that I continue to work hard and give myself the best opportunity of making the most out of this chance that I have been given.

"There is a lot of examples of young players who have progressed through the Academy system at the club to become first team regulars, that is my aim," Fox said.
