Chief Executive Dawn Gore has arranged for a free tea/coffee for Posh fans making the mammoth journey to Carlisle United.
Over 200 Peterborough United supporters will make the long journey to Cumbria on Tuesday to support the team in the Sky Bet League One fixture against Carlisle United and to thank those making the trip, Chief Executive Dawn Gore has arranged for vouchers to be given on entry at Brunton Park, which can be cashed in for a tea or coffee at the refreshment kiosk.
The club have worked with staff at Carlisle United to facilitate the offer and would like to thank them for their co-operation. Gore, who was appointed as the club’s Chief Executive last month, said: “To be taking over 200 fans to Carlisle on a Tuesday night is fantastic, particularly given the schedule over the last few weeks.
“It might only be a small gesture, but we do appreciate the support, the time that is sacrificed to get to the stadium and the impact that has on the next day. The support I have personally received since taking the role has been brilliant and I want to thank everybody who has reached out in the last few weeks.”
If you can’t make the trip to Carlisle, match passes are available for £10 to watch the game on Posh+ with commentary provided by Chris Dowsett and Nilesh Patel.
