Cian Hayes climbed off the substitutes bench to earn Posh a deserved point at Stevenage in Sky Bet League One action.
When form away from the Weston Homes Stadium has been so disappointing, it is hard to know whether a point on the road at Stevenage is a good one or two points dropped - that was certainly what manager Darren Ferguson was contemplating in the post-match interview.
Dan Kemp had rifled the home side into the lead 10 minutes into the second half, but Hayes fired home with his right-foot to level the scores and Posh had moments to try and turn that one point into three.
In truth, the first half was largely uneventful, Sam Hughes sent a header across goal from a Tayo Edun centre and Malik Mothersille saw a shot blocked.
Stevenage also rarely troubled Jed Steer in the Posh goal with the experienced custodian claiming multiple crosses before setting Posh on the attack.
Cooper did well to keep out a first-time effort from Archie Collins on 32 minutes with his midfield partner Hector Kyprianou cautioned for a foul.
Steer produced a fine stop with his legs to keep out Hanlon three minutes into the second half as the striker beat the Posh offside trap and bared down on goal.
The deadlock was broken on 54 minutes as KEMP was allowed time and space on the edge of the box to pick his spot past Steer.
Conn-Clarke saw a shot deflected wide of the target before he was replaced with Hayes his replacement. On 66 minutes, HAYES found a leveller as he shifted the ball onto his right-foot in the box and lashed a shot past the keeper.
Hughes made a good block to preserve the point three minutes from time as Posh ended their losing run away from home.
