Peterborough United defender Sam Hughes was presented with a bottle of champagne prior to the win over Shrewsbury Town on Saturday after scooping the WM Legal Player of the Month for January.
Hughes, who joined Posh in the January transfer window from Stockport County, has settled into life in PE2 quickly and topped the poll with supporters voting for their Player of the Month.
Hughes accumulated 30% of the vote with Carl Johnston second and Tayo Edun third.
