Girls Academy Strength and Conditioning Coach
Pay: £13 per hour
Hours: 2 hours Friday evenings, ad-hoc hours on Wednesday evenings and school holidays
Peterborough United Women are currently seeking a Girls Academy Strength and Conditioning Coach as part of their Girls Emerging Talent Centre. To ensure that all players within the Peterborough United Girls Emerging Talent Centre receive a positive experience, develop as both people and players and support players to progress onto the next stage of the club’s pathway. This role will particularly focus on the effective physical performance of players, ensuring they are robust enough to deal with training loads and develop the physical conditioning traits to help them succeed in football
The individual will plan, deliver and review training sessions and match days for youth development phase players in line with the academy curriculum, while collaborating with other staff to develop a progressive learning environment.
The successful candidate will need significant experience of working in female football and youth football and has the ability to build excellent working relationships with managers, colleagues and staff. They will also need the relevant badges or qualifications, including FA DBS check, FA Safeguarding Children Workshop, BSc Sport Science or similar discipline, UKSCA or ASCC accreditation or working towards this.
