Before Christmas, it was the Junior Posh festive event at the idverde Training Ground as youngsters got the opportunity to spend time with the first team squad.
Two days before Christmas, Junior Posh members were invited to a special event at the idverde Training Ground where they not only got to meet the Peterborough United first team squad, but they also got to meet Santa Claus himself.
The event, which took place in the dome, also saw members meet Peter Burrow and Mick the Skip, showing off their penalty prowess in the process. Press Officer Phil Adlam commented: “After a few years without a festive party, it was great to have one arranged and to use the wonderful facility of the dome at the training ground.
“It was wonderful to see so many members enjoying the experience, spending time with the first team squad, as well as Peter Burrow and Mick the Skip and of course receiving their goodie bags from Santa himself.
“I want to thank everyone for attending and also express my gratitude to everyone who helped make the day a success. We hope that it was a success for everyone who was in attendance.”
