It is fair to say that ever since Posh announced the signing of striker Gustav Lindgren, fans have taken a keen interest in his progress at his club Degerfors IF in Sweden.
Lindgren is following in the footsteps of defender Oscar Wallin in making the move to PE2, but he has business to attend to first - helping to secure promotion for his club.
While Posh were winning 5-1 against Blackpool with Wallin at the heart of the defence, Lindgren was in action - and obviously scoring - in his side's 2-1 home defeat to Örebro SK, which kept the promotion champagne on ice.
When he made a quick trip to Peterborough earlier in this month, he spoke of his determination to secure promotion with a club he has thoroughly enjoyed representing, but he is excited about the challenge of playing in the EFL.
"I have, and am, loving my time with Degerfors, but I am also excited about coming over to England and playing in the English league.
"It has been really good to come over and see the training ground and meet the players and everyone has made me feel very welcome.
"I first heard of the interest in the summer, but we couldn't get it done because of the transfer window in Sweden closing, but everything is sorted for January and I am looking forward to it.
"It is great that I already have a friend here at the club in Oscar and it will be his job to show me around and tell me where to go and what restaurants to eat at!
"I see this move as an opportunity. The staff have been very clear with the plan, they showed me where I fit in and how I can benefit the team. Of course, it is something different, but Oscar played a positive part.
"The coaching staff have put together a plan so when I finish the season in Sweden, I will have some rest and then come over and train ready for being available in January."
