Ephron Mason-Clark has completed a permanent move to Coventry City but will return to Posh on-loan until the end of the season.
Peterborough United can confirm that winger Ephron Mason-Clark has joined Sky Bet Championship side Coventry City for a substantial undisclosed fee but will return to the football club in a loan deal until the end of the season.
Mason-Clark has put pen to paper on a long-term deal at the Sky Blues after competing the formalities ahead of the 11pm deadline, but the club have ensured that he returns to PE2 to help Darren Ferguson’s men in the exciting second half of the season.
The club insisted any permanent deal for Mason-Clark would require him to return in a loan deal until the end of the season. Chairman Darragh MacAnthony said: “I am very thankful to Coventry City owner Doug King, who I have dealt direct with, on getting this done.
"Having Ephron back on-loan was the only way that I would sanction this transfer. It is a wonderful move for the player financially and one he deserves. I now look forward to seeing him terrifying defenders for the rest of the season with us."
