Peterborough United make the trip to Lancashire to face Bolton Wanderers in Sky Bet League One action on Saturday afternoon (3pm) looking to build on the emphatic 5-1 victory over Blackpool at the Weston Homes Stadium on Tuesday evening.
The Trotters have enjoyed a decent run of form of late, but were beaten last time out by Birmingham City, although the Blues are extremely tough opposition at this level, particularly in front of their own supporters.
TEAM NEWS
Posh welcome back centre back Emmanuel Fernandez from a one-match suspension but manager Darren Ferguson is still without Jadel Katongo, Mahamadou Susoho, Hector Kyprianou, Chris Conn-Clarke and Rio Adebisi due to injury.
Bolton midfielder George Thomason will be sidelined until November after he recently picked up a hamstring injury in training Carlos Mendes Gomes remains unavailable for selection, while it remains to be seen whether Gethin Jones and Jordi Osei-Tutu will recover in time for Saturday's fixture.
Defender Eoin Toal will also have to be assessed after being forced to miss the last two matches with a knock that he picked up while on international duty.

Dion Charles
Charles started his career at Blackpool, before moving to AFC Fylde. In 2016, he joined League One side Fleetwood Town, followed by a short spell at Southport. He later signed with Accrington Stanley, where he was one of the league’s top scorers for the 2020-21 season with 19 goals. He was called up to the Northern Ireland senior team the same year.
On 1 January 2022, Charles joined Bolton Wanderers on a three-year contract and finished the 2021-22 season with 8 goals.
The following season, Charles notched up 23 goals in all competitions.
