Posh make a second pre-season trip to Lincolnshire with Boston United providing the opposition on Tuesday evening (7pm).
Peterborough United face Vanarama National League newcomers Boston United in their latest pre-season friendly on Tuesday evening (7pm) with a slightly different feel to this contest as it will be played over 120 minutes rather than 90.
The fixture with the Pilgrims has been arranged so both teams can field two different XIs but get 60 minutes into their players as preparations for the new season continue.
Boston, who clinched promotion last term via the play-offs, overcame Kettering Town in their last friendly outing, while Posh were beaten 2-1 by West Bromwich Albion at St. George's Park.
TEAM NEWS
Midfielder Hector Kyprianou won't feature due to a knee injury and is expected to miss the weekend fixtures at Stamford and Colchester United.
Defender Rio Adebisi is expected to return after a slight knock kept him out of the clash with the Baggies while Malik Mothersille is also in contention after a similar injury.
Boston will include ex-Posh defender Michael Bostwick in their squad as they prepare for life back in the National League.
MANAGER QUOTES
"It is another opportunity to get an hour into the players before we move to 90-minute matches at the weekend. We should have a couple of players back from injuries for this game. It should be a good game and I am looking forward to it," Darren Ferguson said.
