Posh Under 21s are back in action on Tuesday afternoon as they visit West London to take on Brentford B at Wheatsheaf Park (1pm).
Peterborough United Under 21s look to make it four straight wins on Tuesday afternoon, however they face a tricky test against a strong Brentford side in the nation’s capital.
Last time out, Posh secured a notable win beating top of the league Sheffield United with substitute Andre Changunda netting the winner two minutes from time after Cian Hayes had earlier opened the scoring.
Tuesday’s opposition, Brentford will be looking to continue their strong season so far, they currently sit 4th in the Professional Development League South. Last time out, Brentford Under-21s' continued their own unbeaten run in an exciting 3-3 draw away in South Wales against Swansea. The Bees raced into an early two goal lead with Iwan Morgan and Kyreece Lisbie but a strong second half fight back denied them all three points.
TEAM NEWS
A number of first team players could be involved on Tuesday as they look to step up their returns to fitness. The game will likely see another mixed team containing both players from the first team and players from multiple stages of the academy. David Kamara is set to lead the line after recently returning to the starting line-up after a spell on the sidelines.

Speaking ahead of the game Lead Professional Development Phase Lead Coach Ryan Semple said: “It will be a tough game on Tuesday but it’s a game we go into in good form. I have watched Brentford’s past few games; they have some good players and a real clear way of playing. We will need to make sure we perform again to get something out of the game and keep our good run going.”
