TEAM NEWS
Under 23s manager, Michael Allsebrook has confirmed he has strong availability for Sunday with several players returning from injury and illness. Georgie Oliver will be looking to add to her goals tally having netted seven times so far this season.
Derby’s top goalscorer this season is Maya Williams, who has 10 goals in 13 appearances in the league.
FROM THE MANAGER
Allsebrook said: “We recorded our first away win of the season last weekend; it’s been a long wait but the girls worked really hard for it. Our away performances have improved as the season has progressed on. We thoroughly deserved the win going into one of the toughest away games of the season.
“Derby are a good side, a very well supported football club with a good environment. Their model is successful and are probably the standout side in our league. It’s a really tough game for us. We know how good they are technically, tactically and physically. We showed in the home game that we can match them and compete against them, so that will be the plan for this weekend.”
